CBS Sports unveiled this concept in last year’s Super Bowl, positioning cameras high atop each upright to capture the distinctive “doink” sound of a kick hitting the goal post. As the network broadcasts Sunday’s AFC Championship between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, the “Doink Cams” will be on standby. “If anyone DOINKs a kick in the AFC Championship … we’ll be ready,” a post from the NFL on CBS X account stated.

This is valuable information since you never know when a “doink” field goal or PAT attempt might propel your team into the Super Bowl … or send them home.
