Titans Seek New Starting Quarterback

This season, the Tennessee Titans fully committed to second-year quarterback Will Levis, although he struggled when given the opportunity as a full-time starter. This offseason, the team seems inclined to offer Levis a chance to demonstrate his capabilities while simultaneously seeking a new starting quarterback.

In his introductory press conference on Wednesday, new Tennessee Titans General Manager Mike Borgonzi shared insights into the team’s future plans for the quarterback position. He indicated that they are “keeping an open mind” regarding Levis’ status but also emphasized the importance of thoroughly exploring all available options. “We’re going to turn over every rock,” he stated, highlighting the significance of securing the right quarterback.

“The quarterback is the most important position in sports,” Borgonzi elaborated, as reported by Pro Football Talk. “We’re going to give Will every opportunity to play and compete. But we will relentlessly pursue this until we find the answer.”

With the Titans holding the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, they have the potential to select a top rookie quarterback like Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward. They might also consider pursuing a veteran free agent or exploring trade possibilities. Regardless of their approach, it’s evident that the Titans are in search of a new starter.
