LeBron James has gone viral on TikTok, not for a spectacular dunk, an incredible pass, or a game-winning shot—he hasn’t even had another courtside run-in with Stephen A. Smith. Instead, he’s trending due to a wave of tribute songs being made in his honor. According to Sports Illustrated, TikTok user OkaySpade initiated the trend with a short R&B song featuring the lyrics, “LeBron, LeBron, LeBron James.” Basketball fans and aspiring songwriters alike are attempting to create unique tributes to the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.
When asked if he had seen any of the videos, James smiled and stated, “It’s almost impossible (to miss them). My youngest son Bryce actually showed me one yesterday… we got a good laugh out of it. There’s quite a few out there.”
