Against all odds, Joy Taylor celebrated her nine-year anniversary with Fox Sports on Monday, commemorating the occasion with an Instagram post featuring a clip from her first day at the network in 2016. Just months ago, her long tenure at FS1 seemed secure, but in January, she became a defendant in a workplace misconduct lawsuit initiated by a former hairstylist. The allegations claimed that Taylor bullied and discriminated against her co-worker based on race, and also suggested that she engaged in personal relationships with FS1 host Emmanuel Acho and executive Charlie Dixon to further her career.
Dixon, also named in the lawsuit, has been placed on administrative leave. Following a two-week suspension after the Super Bowl, Taylor returned to co-host Speak with Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce on March 10, though Fox Sports has not commented on her absence. Her anniversary went unmentioned during that day’s episode of Speak, potentially linked to the ongoing legal issues. Although Taylor shared a celebratory post, the nine-year milestone is not typically highlighted as significant.
Joy Taylor began her journey at FS1 in March 2016, stepping in for Kristine Leahy on The Herd with Colin Cowherd. Later that year, she was appointed as the moderator for Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe on the network’s morning debate show Undisputed, propelling her career forward. After departing from Undisputed in 2018, Taylor spent several years on The Herd before taking on her current role on Speak in 2022, which she still co-hosts today.
