Does Lamar Jackson deserve blame for the Baltimore Ravens’ latest postseason loss? According to the quarterback himself, yes. Following the 27-25 defeat to the Buffalo Bills, much of the focus shifted to Mark Andrews, Baltimore’s All-Pro tight end, which seems reasonable given his two costly fourth-quarter mistakes. With the Ravens trailing 24-19, Andrews fumbled the ball after a significant gain into Buffalo territory. Later, after getting open on Baltimore’s game-tying two-point conversion attempt, he failed to catch Jackson’s pass.
However, instead of emphasizing Andrews’ mistakes, Jackson reflected on two turnovers he committed earlier in the game. The first occurred in the first quarter when a long pass intended for a receiver fell into the hands of Buffalo’s Taylor Rapp for an interception. Then, in the second quarter, after initially struggling to handle a snap, Jackson was sacked and fumbled. This mistake proved crucial as it not only halted a promising drive deep into Buffalo territory but also allowed the Bills to score a touchdown on the ensuing possession, giving them a lead they never relinquished.
A visibly angry Lamar Jackson is ticked off by the turnovers and drops a few expletives. “It’s f’ing annoying. I’m tired of this shit,” he said. pic.twitter.com/IjeYhJqi9C

Jackson expressed his frustration in a press conference, acknowledging, “In the first half, I had two costly turnovers… You can’t have that s***. That’s why we lost the game. We were moving the ball wonderfully — just hold onto the f***ing ball. I’m sorry for my language, but this s***’s annoying. I’m tired of this s***.” Now, with a 3-5 playoff record, Sunday’s loss was his closest defeat, marking the third time in his career a game was decided by seven points or less. As any play can determine the outcome in such tight contests, Jackson’s frustration is understandable following the narrow loss.
