Former NFL wide receiver and current NFL Network analyst Steve Smith, Sr. went viral on Saturday, but it wasn’t for his football career. The five-time Pro Bowler, who spent the last three seasons of his 16-year NFL tenure with the Baltimore Ravens, has maintained a close relationship with the franchise post-retirement. This past season, he even engaged with the Baltimore Ravens Marching Band, learning their routines and participating in gameday festivities.
On Saturday, drama ensued when the husband of a woman connected to the Ravens Marching Band accused Smith of having an affair with his wife. The saga began in the early hours when a user named Tony Martinez (@Lambeaughini) posted a direct accusation against Smith, referencing a video from Smith’s account.

This was quickly followed by a post aimed at Steve Smith Sr., the Ravens, the Carolina Panthers, and various news outlets, showcasing supposed screenshots of text exchanges between Smith and the accuser’s wife.

Over the next few hours, the account continued to post, attempting to draw attention from more media outlets and NFL accounts. They shared a video apparently showing a phone conversation between the user and Smith, during which the caller confronts Smith about the affair. In the video, the man believed to be Smith responds with an apology as the caller continues to berate him before ending the call.

Following this, the account continued sharing multiple screengrabs of the alleged text conversation between Smith and the woman, along with an image of Smith standing in front of a mirror, his midsection obscured by a cartoon unicorn. Later in the day, what appeared to be the woman’s Facebook account posted more screenshots of her texts with Smith, alleging an encounter at the Ravens’ training facility.
Steve Smith, Sr., who has been married to Angie Smith since 2000 and has four children, has yet to respond to the allegations. We have reached out to NFL Network for any confirmation or comment and will update the post accordingly.
