Alabama baseball’s Bryce Fowler will remember this titanic blast he hit on Wednesday night for a long time. The Crimson Tide have kicked off their 2025 campaign and enjoyed midweek action against Alabama State, where they brought the hammer down thunderously on their opponents. Specifically, Fowler hammered a 100mph pitch not just for a home run, but for a Grand Slam!
“Clobberin’ time,” Alabama Baseball aptly noted on X.

That moonshot will certainly play in Fowler’s head for a while, as turning on a pitch like that is no easy task. Having previously attended Pearl River Community College after spending two seasons at Southern Miss, Fowler’s journey has been significant, but it’s paying off, especially on this memorable Wednesday night.
Fowler may be a player to watch this season for the Crimson Tide, which was not highly regarded in the preseason poll. The SEC’s preseason rankings placed Alabama 13th in a competitive conference that welcomed Oklahoma and the longtime baseball power Texas this season. We’ll see if the Tide can generate momentum moving forward, but Wednesday night was certainly an exciting one for all involved.
