Moss has been absent from NFL Countdown since Week 14. During the Week 13 episode, Moss shared that he was facing a health issue, which is why he wore sunglasses on-air. This marked his last appearance before his return for the Super Bowl. Just days prior to Week 14’s NFL Countdown, Moss announced he would be taking time off, although his castmates ensured he remained a part of the show in spirit. In an Instagram Live session, Moss later disclosed that he was battling cancer.
While not present in person, Moss participated in Thursday night’s NFL Honors ceremony, where he announced the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
