The Fighting Irish will once again play a Peacock exclusive football game this upcoming season. During Saturday’s Blue-Gold spring game, NBC revealed that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will face the Boise State Broncos exclusively on its Peacock streaming service. The game is scheduled for October 4 and will mark Notre Dame’s fifth game of the season, with a kickoff time to be announced later.

Peacock’s exclusive coverage of Notre Dame football games started back in 2021 with the Fighting Irish’s home opener against Toledo, and since then, NBC’s streaming service has aired one exclusive Notre Dame game each season. Last year, it was the matchup against Louisville. Except for the upcoming Boise State game, all Notre Dame home games will continue to air on NBC, which will kick off with the Fighting Irish taking on the Texas A&M Aggies on September 13 in the third week of the college football season. This game will be Notre Dame’s first of the year in South Bend, following an opener against Miami and a bye week.
With exclusive streaming games becoming commonplace for sports fans, it’s notable that Peacock aired an exclusive NFL playoff game two years ago and even featured an exclusive Week 1 NFL game from Brazil last season. Given that this is the fifth consecutive year the Fighting Irish will have a Peacock exclusive, Saturday’s announcement should not come as a surprise to fans.
