Colon health is no laughing matter — unless you happen to call into The Paul Finebaum Show during an appointment. Finebaum took a call from a listener named Slammer, who appeared to be otherwise engaged at the start of the call.
“I lost about 40 pounds,” listeners heard a man, presumably Slammer, say. “And I was doing real good.” As Slammer continued, Finebaum twice noted, “Slammer is next,” which made it challenging to catch what he was saying. Finebaum then tapped his microphone and inquired, “Slammer, are you there?” Unfortunately, Slammer didn’t respond initially.
Fortunately, Finebaum kept the call alive for a few more seconds, allowing listeners to glean some valuable information during the next part of the exchange between Slammer and the presumed doctor.

“What color is your bowel movement?” Slammer was asked. “Normal,” he replied. “What’s normal?” Finebaum pressed.
“Brown,” Slammer answered. With all the critical details covered, Finebaum ultimately decided to stop the conversation, remarking, “I think we’ve unfortunately tuned into a colonoscopy live on the air.”
While it’s unclear what additional information Slammer might have provided had he been able to speak freely, it’s hard to envision it being more entertaining than what unfolded.
