After starting with 32 broadcast teams in our Best Broadcast Booth 2025 bracket earlier this month, we’re now down to just four. The finalists come as no surprise, featuring three teams calling some of the biggest events in sports, alongside one underdog that certainly deserves recognition.
Fox’s #2 NFL team of Joe Davis and Greg Olsen entered as a top seed after being named Awful Announcing’s best NFL broadcast booth for the 2024 season. Although Olsen was replaced by Tom Brady alongside Kevin Burkhardt in the lead booth, he remains popular among fans. With Davis’s impressive work on the World Series and his current standing as one of the most respected announcers in sports, the duo has made quite the impact. Joining them are the legendary pairings of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman from ESPN and Mike Tirico with Cris Collinsworth from NBC, both well-established as lead voices at their networks for generations.
The last team in the race serves as our Cinderella story—the only non-NFL broadcast booth remaining. CBS’s new lead NCAA basketball team, including Ian Eagle, Grant Hill, and Bill Raftery, has captured hearts with their chemistry, dating back to their days covering the New Jersey Nets. Hill’s status as an all-time college basketball great further strengthens this trio.
If you’d like to revisit the journey that led us here, check out the bracket through the Round of 32, Sweet 16, and Elite 8 phases.
Now, it’s time to find out who will reach the championship final next Monday. Happy voting!
