Netflix Hints at Upcoming Interview Featuring David Letterman and Caitlin Clark

Caitlin Clark demonstrated her exceptional skills last season as a WNBA rookie. Now, the question is, can she showcase that same prowess in a one-on-one with David Letterman? The remarkable basketball player will be featured in an upcoming episode of Letterman’s Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, which premieres on April 8.

There’s certainly ample ground for Letterman to cover during the interview. Clark’s fantastic WNBA rookie season, along with her rivalry with Angel Reese and the racial aspects of her rising star, will undoubtedly be hot topics, particularly her controversial comments on white privilege. Netflix released a trailer on Monday showcasing some lighter topics, such as her journey in basketball and her competitive spirit.

“Do you have to win everything?” Letterman asked. “You got to win Halloween, bring home the most candy?”

“I loved Halloween,” Clark replied. “When we trick-or-treated in Des Moines growing up, I would be so sweaty under my costume because I would be in a dead sprint from house to house. I had to have the most candy. That’s how I operated.” After Letterman prompted her about whether she’s still the same way, she humorously responded, “Well, I don’t trick-or-treat anymore,” eliciting large laughs from the audience.

Letterman’s show is currently in its fifth season, featuring a diverse array of guests including Charles Barkley, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Kevin Durant, Robert Downey Jr., and Jerry Seinfeld.
