However, reports surfaced indicating that the Minnesota Vikings were also considering the veteran quarterback, although these claims were quickly dismissed due to the Vikings’ intention to focus on young quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who missed his rookie season due to a knee injury in the preseason. Now, there appears to be a shift in Minnesota’s stance, as noted by Pro Football Talk.
