Eagles Acquire Azeez Ojulari

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed former New York Giants EDGE Azeez Ojulari, who spent the first four seasons of his career in East Rutherford. Like Saquon Barkley, Ojulari will be trading his blue jersey for green as he joins the dominant team in the NFC East.

The Eagles announced the deal on X on Monday evening. Ojulari will be surrounded by familiar faces, as he attended the University of Georgia prior to entering the NFL. The Eagles boast several former Bulldogs, particularly on defense, including Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, and Nolan Smith. This move reflects a pattern the Eagles have embraced on their defensive roster.

Philly clinched the Super Bowl this year with a strong defensive performance that frustrated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in a decisive 40-22 victory, marking the franchise’s second Super Bowl title. Ojulari will aim to lead the team to a consecutive Super Bowl win next year, striving for the third title in franchise history while the Eagles look to maintain their status as the NFC’s premier team in the 21st century.
