With a total of 232 wins across the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Kyle Busch has undeniably established an illustrious racing career. After calling the recent Xfinity Series race for The CW at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, fellow driver Denny Hamlin believes Busch should not delay in starting his post-racing career. Filling in for Parker Kligerman, Busch joined Adam Alexander and Jamie McMurray for the broadcast, receiving high praise from numerous NASCAR beat reporters, including Jeff Gluck of The Athletic.
Was just thinking that. Really natural, nice fit and he’s able to easily work in his next-level knowledge. https://t.co/bbGhNA7nua

It’s been said a lot in the opening 60 laps, but my goodness Kyle Busch is great in the broadcast booth. He knows the Xfinity Series cars like the back of his hand as the series’ winningest driver. His ability to explain details is phenomenal. #NASCAR

Denny Hamlin also acknowledged Busch’s impressive on-air presence, sharing his thoughts on his podcast, Actions Detrimental: “I want to give a shout-out to Kyle Busch. What a great job. He should quit racing. He called the Xfinity race and then I heard him on Flo doing the High Limit Race as well. I thought he was good, man. We’ve been giving The CW their flowers all year for their play-by-play and how they mesh. But I thought Kyle blended in there really well as if he had been there for quite some time.”
While Busch remains in the top-20 of the NASCAR Cup Series standings, a sudden end to his racing career might be premature. However, Hamlin believes Busch would seamlessly transition to the broadcast booth when he eventually decides to retire, and the positive feedback on his performance Saturday suggests many share that view.
