In 2023, former NFL defensive end Chris Long established the full-service production company and content studio Yote House Media to build on the success of his Green Light podcast. Now, this company is set to produce a compelling NFL-and-beyond podcast, Life After, hosted by David Vobora, who was known as “Mr. Irrelevant” in the 2008 NFL Draft but went on to have a successful four-season career with the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
Here’s more about the new podcast from a recent release:
Yote House Media, founded by two-time Super Bowl champion Chris Long, is excited to announce “Life After,” a new weekly podcast hosted by retired NFL linebacker and human performance expert David Vobora.
Following his professional football career, overcoming addiction, working with Wounded Warriors, and founding the Adaptive Training Foundation, David understands that life-altering events are inevitable. In this new series, former “Mr. Irrelevant” Vobora engages guests in conversations about overcoming adversity in exceptional circumstances, pinpointing pivotal—often tragic—moments that have defined their success and identity.
“Join me and my extraordinary guests as we explore stories that spark courage, offer inspiration, and shift perspectives,” said Vobora. “It’s an honor to hear from professional athletes, entertainers, elite military operators, and everyday people who have confronted incredible challenges—finding their best selves not despite, but because of life-changing experiences.”
“Life After” features guests such as rap legend The D.O.C., Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, Navy SEAL Will Chesney, who participated in the raid that led to Osama bin Laden’s demise, and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Flo Groberg, among others.
