While Ross Tucker’s NFL career featured tenures with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, it’s with another NFC East team that the former offensive lineman-turned-broadcaster has truly found his place. On Wednesday, Tucker announced via X that he’ll continue with the Philadelphia Eagles’ preseason broadcast team ahead of the defending Super Bowl champions’ 2025 season. This means, unlike pending free agents like Josh Sweat, Zack Baun, or Mekhi Becton, at least one member of the Eagles’ “roster” has confirmed a return for 2025.
“BREAKING: In a move many are calling the key to a bid to repeat as Super Bowl champs the @Eagles have re-signed their free agent preseason TV analyst to a long term deal,” Tucker wrote. “Source: Me.”

A rising star in the NFL sports media landscape, Tucker has spent the last six years calling Eagles preseason games alongside Scott Graham on COZI-TV and NBC Sports Philadelphia+, as well as various local affiliates. In addition to these roles, he calls nationally televised college football and NFL games for CBS and on the radio for Westwood One, all while hosting The Ross Tucker Football Podcast for DraftKings. Suffice it to say, Tucker has a full plate, yet Eagles fans can rest assured knowing the Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, native will be back in the booth for at least one more preseason slate.
