YouTube TV subscribers who enjoy March Madness, the Masters, and various shows on Paramount channels can breathe a sigh of relief as a deal has been reached. On Saturday night, YouTube TV announced the agreement via a statement on X (formerly Twitter), confirming: “Members, we’re happy to share that we’ve reached a deal to continue carrying Paramount content on YouTube TV,” the announcement stated. “That means you still have access to channels like CBS, CBS Sports, and Nickelodeon. Add-ons such as Paramount+ with SHOWTIME and BET+ will also remain uninterrupted.”

The two parties had been publicly negotiating in the week leading up to Saturday’s announcement, with both YouTube TV and Paramount warning subscribers about potential loss of access to Paramount channels as early as February 13. This put events like March Madness and the Masters at risk. A short-term extension was announced shortly thereafter, but it was unclear how long it would last. Ultimately, Saturday night’s confirmation of an agreement ensures that these events will be available for viewing this year and in the near future.
