In the second quarter, Dhillon was interviewed by announcers Mark Jones, Stephanie White, and Richard Jefferson, where he expressed his admirable ambition to expand the game in India, stating, “I want to take every little chance to do that.” He addressed the stereotypes that some, including his fellow Indians, have about Indian players, momentarily losing track of his surroundings.
“Like, my own people, they were like, ‘Does this guy even know how to dribble? Is he gonna double dribble?’ So I’m here to show, like ‘Yeah, we f***’,” Dhillon exclaimed, before swiftly correcting himself with “Oh, my bad. We can dribble. My bad. My bad.”

He said ‘You don’t have to apologize,’” referencing a previous incident on Inside the NBA on TNT. Dhillon responded, “OK, amazing.”
