Dana White condemned Bryce Mitchell for praising Hitler and making antisemitic and homophobic remarks, yet the UFC president has decided not to impose any punishment on the fighter. On a recent podcast, Mitchell controversially declared Hitler a “good guy based on my own research” and dismissed the Holocaust, claiming, “there’s no possible way they could’ve burned and cremated 6 million bodies; you’re going to realize the Holocaust ain’t real.”
While addressing the media before a Power Slap event, White confronted Mitchell’s comments directly. He said, “I’ve heard a lot of dumb and ignorant sh*t in my day, but this one is probably the worst,” emphasizing the horrific consequences of Hitler’s actions, which included the death of six million Jews and millions more during World War II. “Hitler is one of the most disgusting and evil human beings to ever walk the face of the Earth, and anyone that even tries to take an opposing position is a moron,” he added, criticizing the platform social media gives to ignorance.

White then opened the floor for questions, including whether Mitchell would face any disciplinary action for his remarks. “It’s free speech,” he stated. “I don’t have to love it. You don’t have to love it…That’s the beautiful thing about this business; you get to see him hopefully get his ass whooped on global television.” He expressed that while they are disgusted by Mitchell’s comments, they are committed to free speech principles.
“We’re disgusted by it. I think he’s literally one of the dumbest human beings…we don’t have to agree with it, we don’t have to like it. I’m giving you mine and the UFC’s position on what he had to say…you can’t fix dumb people…how do you talk sense to a dummy?” White has previously championed free speech regarding fighters’ controversial statements, but his stance on Mitchell raises questions about boundaries for fighter conduct.
Would a suspension rectify the situation or enlighten Mitchell? Probably not. Would a meeting with the Anti-Defamation League (if they’re willing) have any impact? White doesn’t seem to think so. However, one could argue that Mitchell doesn’t deserve the privilege of profiting from the UFC.
