ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky has become notorious for his quirky food opinions, and he was back at it on Thursday, caught on video in a bizarre encounter with a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. In the clip posted by his NFL Live colleague, Ryan Clark, Orlovsky was seen eating a Reese’s but repeatedly spitting something out onto the table.
“What is he doing?” someone off-screen asked, to which Clark inquired, “Wait, so what are you spitting out, though?” Orlovsky casually replied, “The chocolate,” as if it was the most normal thing. Clark attempted to clarify, “So you’re just trying to eat the peanut butter?” and asked again, “So what part are you spitting out?” Orlovsky clarified, saying, “The chocolate — I don’t like milk chocolate.” “OK, cool,” was Clark’s response.
Want to see a good crime? Here’s how @danorlovsky7 eats a Reese’s peanut butter cup… or doesn’t really eat it. Doesn’t like milk chocolate. Just eats around it. pic.twitter.com/Vynuexp178

This incident sheds light on why Orlovsky previously deemed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups as his most overrated Halloween candy during an episode of Get Up. His unconventional eating habits caught the attention of several colleagues in sports media, with Mike Golic Jr. quipping, “Maximum security prison. @danorlovsky7 I’m sorry but you should never see the sun again after this.”

So, where does this latest incident rank among Orlovsky’s definitive questionable food choices? It’s hard to say, especially considering he once shared that he grew up eating mayonnaise sandwiches, drinking red wine with ice cubes, consuming Mentos in a peculiar manner, and even enjoying mac and cheese and a Caesar salad for Thanksgiving.
“I love when people lose their minds over how weird I am,” Orlovsky stated a couple of years ago, clearly not letting the scrutiny affect him.

He certainly hasn’t lost his touch.
