The Kansas City Chiefs have heard the noise about officials playing a significant role in their success, and one star player is weary of these allegations. Complaints from fans have been constant throughout the season, but during the postseason, the discourse about perceived bias from officials toward the Chiefs has intensified, particularly following the Divisional Round against the Houston Texans. Several questionable calls on what seemed to be legal hits on Patrick Mahomes were pivotal in the game’s outcome.
While the Conference Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills featured fewer egregious calls, there were still numerous instances where penalties against the Chiefs appeared to be overlooked. This has drawn even more scrutiny and speculation from fans on social media.
Any other team that’s a penalty but it’s the face of the WWE, I mean NFL so it’s a no call! Just like Roman Reigns the Chiefs are on a run as a heel pic.twitter.com/0o5ICIOXI7

Despite the ongoing scrutiny regarding officiating in their games, star linebacker Drue Tranquill urged those still focused on “ref talk” to “kick rocks.” He praised the Buffalo Bills for their effort, stating, “Shoutout to the Buffalo Bills… The rest of y’all can take all that ‘ref’ talk & kick rocks. We stand on business!!”
Shoutout to the @BuffaloBills .. heck of a battle.
The rest of y’all can take all that “ref” talk & kick rocks. We stand on business‼️

Regardless of the narrative surrounding their officiating, the Chiefs are on track to claim their third consecutive Super Bowl championship, a feat no organization has achieved before. Clearly, the Chiefs remain unfazed by fan perceptions and seem poised to not be the favored team in Super Bowl LIX.
