It’s rare to witness a live television program unfold without a hitch, yet WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event experienced a notable glitch at the beginning of Saturday night’s show. Joe Tessitore’s opening remarks, intended to inform viewers about the upcoming scenes, were unexpectedly overdubbed in Spanish. This led to a confusing situation where both Tessitore’s English commentary and the Spanish audio were audible simultaneously, as the discrepancy persisted through Tessitore’s on-camera presentation alongside co-host Jesse “The Body” Ventura.

The audio issues continued for a few minutes, lingering through the discussions between Michael Cole and Pat McAfee before the opening match between Nia Jax and Rhea Ripley. Fortunately, the problem appeared resolved just before the match commenced.

Interestingly, the issue did not stem from specific NBC affiliates, as viewers in various regions across the country reported experiencing the same audio conflict. Notably, those streaming on Peacock, NBC’s service, did not encounter this problem.
Great start to @WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC – feed here in SoCal has both English and Spanish audio simultaneously.

Hey @WWE @nbc I’m in Minneapolis, and the #SaturdayNightsMainEvent broadcast has both the Spanish and English audio feeds layered over each other. #WWE pic.twitter.com/HjHEOaCdML

PSA: If you’re trying to watch Saturday Night’s Main Event and your audio is coming through in Spanish on NBC, it’s not just you. Peacock has the English feed, but the NBC feed is in Spanish for whatever reason.
