As we approach the 2025 NFL Draft, fans are speculating about who the Tennessee Titans will select with the first overall pick. A significant shift in the betting odds on Thursday pointed toward a likely candidate.
On Wednesday, Colorado Buffaloes dual-threat star Travis Hunter had 14-1 odds to be the top pick. However, by Thursday, those odds surged to nearly evens, as found on DraftKings Sportsbook, where Hunter is now at +140 odds. This means a $10 bet on Hunter to go first overall would yield a $14 profit.
This dramatic change elicited enthusiastic reactions from Hunter’s supporters. One fan on X declared, “Best choice.”

Another fan emphasized Hunter’s exceptional talent: “Trav is indeed a generational talent. They better not kill his love of both sides of the ball.”
Trav and Snead on the outside a nice 1, 2 👀.
Trav and Ridley nice too.

Drastic shifts in the betting market like this are rare within a 24-hour period, raising questions about what triggered such a change. Recent comments from the Tennessee Titans suggest that Hunter is indeed under consideration for that top pick. During a press conference, Titans President of Football Operations Chad Brinker stated, “We won’t pass on a generational talent with the first pick in the NFL Draft.”

Considering Brinker’s statement, it appears that Hunter could very well be the Titans’ logical choice. While the team does have a pressing need at quarterback, many believe that there aren’t any other generational talents available in this draft class. Although there is still ample time before the draft, Hunter seems to be the current frontrunner for the top pick.
