As the Chicago White Sox transition to the new Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) for the 2025 season, they are enhancing their coverage. Connor McKnight, previously a radio studio host for the White Sox on ESPN 1000 for the last four years, will now join the team’s television coverage on CHSN. The news was reported by Jeff Agrest of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Agrest elaborated on McKnight’s upcoming role, noting that he will become a Sox employee, serving as the team insider, reporting from the field, and making appearances on CHSN shows. Additionally, he will fill in for play-by-play on both TV and radio broadcasts. John Schriffen (play-by-play) and Steve Stone (color commentary) will remain the team’s primary announcers.
The 2025 season marks the White Sox’s debut on CHSN, having previously aired their games on the now-defunct NBC Sports Chicago through the 2024 season. The White Sox are joining the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks in the transition to CHSN.
