Charlotte Wilder, the longtime sports feature writer and on-air host, has announced her departure from Meadowlark Media. Wilder joined the sports content startup, founded by Dan Le Batard and John Skipper, in May 2023. In a post on Bluesky, she stated that her last day with the company was January 17.
Some personal news, as they say in the biz: today is my last day at Meadowlark. Grateful to the folks there who supported me and a big thank you to the listeners/viewers – I wouldn’t be doing any of this without you! Excited for what’s next, and I’ll see you on the internet 💫

At Meadowlark, Wilder hosted a daily basketball show called Oddball alongside former ESPN analyst Amin Elhassan. Based in New York for the Miami-based company, she also contributed to the flagship Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz as well as Pablo Torre Finds Out and GoJo and Golic, produced by Meadowlark’s licensing partner, DraftKings. This week, it was reported that Mike Golic and Mike Golic Jr. were leaving the DraftKings Network as the gambling operator ceased production of in-house content. Prior to joining Meadowlark, Wilder gained a strong following through her work at SB Nation, Sports Illustrated, and Fox Sports.
Wilder’s personal Substack boasts over 4,000 subscribers, and her podcast, The Sports Gossip Show, has garnered more than 1,250 YouTube subscribers since launching in late 2024. Although she hinted at a future role in her Bluesky post, Wilder has yet to disclose what that opportunity will be.
