The Miami Marlins have selected a familiar voice for their TV play-by-play role, announcing on Friday that Kyle Sielaff will be the new announcer on FanDuel Sports Network Florida. Sielaff, who spent 12 seasons with the Marlins Radio Network and was the lead announcer for the past two years, is also well-known to fans for hosting Marlins On Deck and The Inside Corner radio programs, along with team podcasts.

Sielaff is a native of Trumansburg, New York, and graduated from the University of Miami. He succeeds Paul Severino, who recently parted ways with the team after seven seasons. The announcement has generated positive reactions from Marlins fans and Sielaff’s media colleagues.
Congratulations to @Kyle_Sielaff who is absurdly deserving of this and will be one of the best around. What he did to transition + build up Marlins Radio is remarkable and thinking of what this can do to the broadcast is very exciting. Great call, Marlins…well done Kyle! https://t.co/r1lvwCC66a
